Description | Reeciting settlement of 1670 [D547M/T202], death of Everingham Cressey the younger 30 Aug. 1679; proceedings in Chancery 1681 by which Elizabeth Taylor was ordered to pay the interest on the principal sum of £1131 17s 10d being the jointure of Dorothy Roseberry under the said settlement, and reciting that the said principal and interest remains to be paid; now in consideration of £1187 10s principal and interest with £12 10s in lieu of costs, (£1200 in total), Archibald and Dorothy assign to Sarles the manor of Birkin (Yorks) with advowson, with Birkin (Yorks) hall and all appurtenances recited in said settlement and limited for term of 40 yrs., for remainder of that term, with all moneys due from the said settlement. |
