| Description | Writ directed to sheriff of Derby on behalf of Andrew Clayton against Robert Thorneley, reciting that Clayton has obtained a judgement against Thorneley for debt of £60 and damages of 46s 8d, and ordering sheriff to make an extent of Thorneley's lands and deliver ½ to Clayton to pay off debt. Inquisition taken at Derby before Gilbert Clarke, sheriff, by which Robert Thorneley's lands are found to be Rowtenwell close in Clowne, containing 3 acres one rood, worth 26s per annum, several parcels of arable in common field of Clowne called Churchfield, containing 2½ acres worth 12s per annum, Ringall close in Clowne containing 2½ acres, worth 12s per annum, Parkesteele close in Clowne, containing 4 acres, worth 50s per annum;na moiety of these lands, namely Rowtenwell close, lands in Churchfield and Ringall closes are delivered to Andrew Clayton, to hold until both debts and damages are recovered.
