Two lawyers fight each other with umbrellas. On the right is a constable, with his crowned stick. Above the lawyers are the lines: 'Full often we're told and true it may be | That two of a trade can never agree'.

According to BM Sat 12916 the scene refers to a fight between two lawyers, Adolphus and Andrews. They had been working together on a Police Act on Vagrants or Rogues and Vagabonds, but on the way out a comment made by Adolphus led Andrews to attack him.
