Description | Three men sit round a table, upon which are glasses, a punch-bowl, a bottle, and a box of tobacco. Above the scene is written: 'HOW SHALL WE MORTALS SPEND OUR HOURS?' Seated on the left is a young man gazing heaven-wards, above whose head is written: 'In Love'. Next to him is a a military man, smoking a pipe. He wearing a cocked hat, a coat with gold braiding and an eye-patch. Over his head is written 'In War'. The last figure is dishevelled and sits drunkenly in his chair. Over his head is written: 'In Drinking'. Available on CD 165. |
