John Bannister (1760-1836) was the son of Charles Bannister, who is also depicted in the archive, he made his debut alongside his father at Drury Lane in 1778. From 1780 he played summer seasons at the Haymarket, and in 1785 he played Parolles twice, once on the 26 Jul 1785 as part of his benefit performance, and then on 28 Jul 1785. |
