Margaret Martyr, née Thornton (died 1807) began as a singer at Vauxhall Gardens, before making her debut at Covent Garden where she remained until 1804.
She appeared as Clorinda in Robin Hood thirteen times in 1783-1784, eight times in 1784-5 and then on 21 Nov 1785 and 1 Dec 1785. |
