| Administrative History | Lesley Tomlinson married Sheila Mary Rushton, and they lived in Darley Abbey, Derby. They had no children. Both were enthusiastic bird watchers and recorded their sightings. They also made records, both written and photographically, of their holidays. Sheila attended Parkfields Cedars secondary school when younger.
Sheila was the daughter of William Arthur Rushton (1876-1969), who was one of nine children born of
Samuel A. Rushton (b.1836) who married Christina Jane Gatchell (b.1840) in the bride's family's parish of Westminster in 1863. William Rushton married Ethel Lamb in 1905. |
