Description
This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
No title [?late] 18c. Scale: no scale shown. Size: 39 x 38 cm. irregular. Materials: ink and wash on stiff linen backed paper. Centred on: SK215764. Notes: compass, north at top. Carefully drawn map with landholding marked in blue, showing Town Street to Middleton Dale, with Cucklett Church, The delf, Toor Tops, Cussey Dale and Cucklett Lane: houses on Town Street in plan: many later pencil additions.
