Award of N G Clarke, arbitrator, (reciting articles of agreement dated 18 Nov 1813 between 1) the society and companions of Dove Gang Mines and owners of Long Sough Cromford Moor 2) the lessees of Long Sough and mines belonging, 3) the proprietors, (including Phillip Gell), of the Meer Brook Sough and mines belonging, concerning the claim of 3) to 4½ meers on the east side of the vein), that 1) and 2) are entitled to 30 taker meers eastwardly from the founder, as set out by the deputy barmaster in 1698 and 1707.
