Administrative History
The church was built in 1878. It was part of the Church Gresley Methodist Circuit until 1955, and thereafter part of the South Derbyshire Methodist Circuit.
Custodial History
The records were deposited by the Superintendent Minister of the South Derbyshire Methodist Circuit between December 1983 and September 1989, and re-accessioned as D4707 in 1995. A further consignment was received in June 1997 and other records identified and re-accessioned in January 2001. Additional records deposited August 2019.
