from Thomas Garratt butcher of Youlgreave, Mary his wife, John Garratt butcher of Matlock, William Garratt of Middleton by Youlgreave yeoman and Thomas Garratt hosier of Cheapside, London (eldest son of Thomas and Mary) to William Bowman of Smerrill, yeoman in trust for Thomas Garratt senior, of house, cowhouse, shop and garden in Youlgreave previously occupied by Isaac Pinder; seats in church; barn previously occupied by George Wall, all bought from Edward Barker, 15-16 Oct 1756
