Curzon family of Lockington
Administrative History
The Curzon family of Lockington/Leicestershire traced its descent from Richard Curzon, a younger son of the Kedleston family (see D3295) in the mid-seventeenth century. Although based in Leicestershire, the family maintained an interest in property in Derbyshire.

These records were transferred to Derbyshire Record Office in March 2000 from Derby Local Studies Library (previous ref DL62)
