Transcript or Index | [Note: spelling has not been corrected] Madam I thank you for the Honor of your kind letter I gave the inclosed to Miss Feilding as you was so kind to wish me to take for bord & lodging Miss F was with me five weeks I made a charge of three pounds which she paid me her mother wrot to me & said no power upon Earth should ever make her take Miss F to her again she would pay me for a fortnight bord after that she would not have aney more to do with her since that I have not seen nor hard from her. I have promised if Mrs Williams pays me I will return it to Miss F she left me on the 13 and said she was going to seek after Lodgings she did not say wear she was to be till she found them. I am sorry to say I donot think Miss F possess much gratitude I have advised her to take care of her selfe & keep from bad company which she promes to do I believe her abilitys for the stage are very great if she [page 2] succeed I shall be verry glad as she niver will attend to Business.
