Transcript or IndexDr Madam
I am really at a loss to explain
the sudden change in my intentions
It is at Miss Edgell’s request that
I address myself to you she has I believe
explained the reason of our parting
it is therefore unnecessary for me to
repeat it. I have only to say I am extremely
sorry Miss E- and myself cannot agree
and that I never intentionally
offended her. I have a situation
which for fear of losing I go to on
Wednesday and hope you will
have no objection.
I am Dr Madam
Your Hum[ble] ser[van]t
