Complaining about his treatment. Has heard news of Mundy’s intention to speak to Capt Boyle of the Transport Office on Duval’s behalf and asks him to intercede with Thomas Penny, agent for prisoners [of war]. Has refused offers to take him to Portchester Hospital [formerly Portchester Castle, used to house French prisoners during the Napoleonic Wars]. (French)
