Papers of Edward Miller Mundy II (1775-1834)
Description
The eldest son of Edward Miller Mundy I (1750-1822) of Shipley Hall and his first wife, Frances Meynell, Edward Miller Mundy II married his cousin Nelly Barton in 1800. Their children were: Edward (1800-1849), Frances Georgiana (1801-1817), Henry (1803-?), Maria (1804-?), Augusta Marian (1806-1827), Willoughby Frederick (1807-1834), Alfred (1809-1877), Nelly (1810-1817), Georgiana Louisa (1811-1824). Fitzherbert (1813-1846), Charles Fitzroy (1815-1888), Emma Selina (1816-1869), Meynell Horton (1819-1889), Millicent Emily (1822?-).
Edward Miller Mundy lived at Walton-on-Trent until he inherited Shipley Hall on the death of his father in 1822. He died in June 1834 and was buried at Heanor.
