Description	A heavy gale resulting in damage to Hyrda led to him geing given permission to proceed to Gibraltar for repairs. Enemy vessels threaten the transport of supplies. Reports that 40 transports and 7 sail of line were seen - Collingwood and Moore with their destination unknown. Includes outpouring of emotion for his father.
