Sudbury Primary School
Administrative History
Sudbury Primary School was originally built in 1832 as Lord Vernon's Church School and later enlarged in 1876 and 1888. The school was divided into Lord Vernon's Boys School (sometimes referred to as Lady Vernon's Boys School) and Lady Vernon's Girls School. A mixed Infants School operated alongside the Girls School. From c1903 the school was known as Sudbury County School.
The following records were deposited in the Record Office in January 2000 and November 2003 and July 2005. Some of the records will be subject to access restrictions under the Freedom of Information Act, January 2005.
