Description	The papers dated 1925, described here fall into two categories; firstly those connected with the sale of the Glossop Dale estate on 31 Dec 1925 from Lord Howard to John Todd (the principal conveyance for which is missing from this accession); and secondly the concurrent sales of parts of the estates in lots at auction or privately. Conveyances of individual pieces of land will be found in the sections arranged by place at the start of this list. John Todd purchased the estate as a trustee for sale on behalf of the Howard family
