| Description | whereby, in consideration of a marriage portion of £109, Jn Buxton senior conveys to George Buxton of Chelmorton, yeoman, and Michael Noton of Burchill, yeoman, a messuage in the middle of Chelmorton (except the end in which is kept the Meeting), the croft it stands on, 2 adjoining closes, a close called Millen Acre, Croft Ends Close, Gouldy Close and a small close at the north end thereof (1a), ½r in the Pikes, 1r upon Stoppar Stone, 2 closes called the Three Roods, a close called the Marston with a yard at the west end, 1½r on the Pikes, ½a upon Stoppar Stone, 1r in Oldfield and a barn called New Barn with a cow house, in trust to the use of Jn Buxton, junior, for life, then to Hannah for life an annuity of £10 charged upon the lands, and then to the heirs of their bodies, 3 Mar.
