Bakewell Town Council
Administrative HistoryBakewell Community Interest Group was established in 1999 as the successor to the Bakewell Project Community Interest Group. The group was dissolved in May 2015 and funds passed to the Bakewell Partnership.

The Bakewell Partnership had formed in 2012, with representatives from local businesses, residents, community groups, Town, District, and County Councils and the Peak District National Park Authority. It was to act as a forum to progress matters of common concern with the body seeking to contribute to the physical, economic, and cultural development of Bakewell.
