TitlePapers for a court case re Robert Hall, official liquidator of the Matlock Building Society vs the Derby and Derbyshire Banking Co Ltd. It is stated that the bank wrongfully paid sums of money upon account of the society without the cheques being signed. Therefore the bank is indebted to the society, and Robert Chadwick and Adam Chadwick are charged with fraud.
