Administrative HistoryEdward George Kington (1888 - c1960) was an architect and surveyor. He worked for most of the first half of the twentieth century as part of the firm of Houfton & Kington, Chartered Architects, in Market Place, Chesterfield. During his career he was architect and surveyor to Chesterfield Rural District Council and Derby Diocesan Surveyor. He was a freemason, at one time Worshipful Master of Cavendish Lodge.
