Derby Green Hill Presbyterian Church
Administrative History
A Presbyterian Congregation was established in Derby in 1865 and met at the Athanaeum Rooms, Victoria Street, Derby until their church in Green Lane was opened in 1869. The church closed in 1976 when it joined with Victoria Street Congregational Church and Normanton Road Congregational Church to form Derby Central United Reformed Church.
Custodial History
Some of the records were originally accessioned as part of D2608. These were re-accessioned in November 1998. Other items were deposited by the United Reformed Church History Society as part of a large-scale distribution of records to appropriate local record repositories in August 2001.
