Description	The register was first begun in 1938 and contains details of individuals admitted as early as 1920 if they were still at the institution in 1938. Arranged alphabetically by surname, giving surname, first name, address, [from where] admitted. sex, date of birth, description (usually indicating occupation), religious creed, name and address of nearest relative or friend, date of admission, date of discharge, how discharged. There is also a remarks column which is occasionally completed.
