Administrative History | Allestree Parish Council was established under the provisions of the local Government Act 1894. It provided local services for the parish, including street lighting, recreation grounds, supervision of footpaths and highways, fire protection and other public amenities. In 1968 the functions of the parish council were transferred as part of the Derby Borough boundary extensions. |
Custodial History | The records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office by Derby City Council in September 1996, with the minutes of several other former Parish Councils within the city boundary (see D4527, D4528, D4529, D4530, D4531, D574 - addition only, D4533). |
