The parish files include correspondence etc with incumbents and others in the parishes as well as senior church figures dealing with parish matters including appointments. Some files cover more than one parish, where there are united benefices, team ministries, daughter churches etc. the files have been arranged in alphabetical order of the first named parish in the file. In some cases the dedication of the church is given.

Acquired by Derbyshire Record Office in 1996. Further records were deposited by the Diocese of Derby in December 2002.
