Letter from Joseph Soar at Fort St George to cousin William Forman at Chellaston, to be left at Mr Smith's in the Corn Market, Derby: Soar has had an account of his father's death from Mr Lomas, Surgeon, of Derby; has received Forman's the 19th of the same month; enquires whether his trustees know how to write to him and sends Forman his power of attorney to demand his property for him and act for him until he comes home or sends instruction: desires William to get everything away from his cousin Thomas Soar. 23 September 1794
