Administrative History
The society became part of the Buxton Primitive Methodist Circuit between 1871 and 1876. Its chapel was built in 1888. After the closure of the former Great Rocks/Peak Dale Wesleyan Chapel in 1966, Upper End Chapel became known as Peak Dale Methodist Chapel, Wormhill, taking on the members of the closed Great Rocks and Long Ridge Lane Chapels (see also D4324).
Custodial History
These records were deposited in the Record Office by Buxton Methodist Circuit in December 1991 and were formerly numbered D3568/21 /1/1-21/1/4 until being reaccessioned in 1995. Added to the catalogue as part of the FindersKeepers project by volunteer NGS.
