Administrative History
These records relate to the Devonshire Street, formerly Wesleyan Methodist Church, Ambergate. The first chapel, originally called Toad Moor Chapel, was opened in Newbridge Road in 1837. The new church in Devonshire Street opened in 1926.
Custodial History
These documents were deposited in the Record Office via Belper Methodist Circuits in June 1984 and January 1992 and were formerly numbered D544 J/MC 81/1 101/1 and 193/1 200/4 until re-accessioning in 1995. A further deposit was received in July 2019.
