Archive Creator	Barlow Parish Council
Administrative History	Barlow Parish Council was established under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1894. It helped provide local public amenities and services such as street lighting, recreation grounds, footpaths and public seating, as well as liaise with other local authorities over proposals or issues that might concern the area.
Custodial History	These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office by the parish council in February 1995.
