Administrative History	The congregation at Netherseal was established in 1887 and the church building opened twelve years later. The church closed in 1983. It was part of the Woodville and Swadlincote Methodist circuit until 1955 and thereafter part of the South Derbyshire Methodist circuit.
Custodial History	These records were deposited by the Superintendent Minister of the South Derbyshire Methodist circuit at various times from December 1983.
