Description	Bulmer's Directory (1896) notes the existence of a Primitive Wesleyan Chapel but gives no information about its history. In 1932 the Primitive Methodist Church joined with the Wesleyan Methodist Church and the United Methodist Church to form the Methodist Church. The records were deposited by Long Eaton Methodist Circuit at various dates from 1973. Some of the records were previously accessioned as part of the circuit's records (ref D1213). They were re-accessioned in 1995.
