Electrical Association for Women
Administrative History
The Electrical Association for Women was formed in 1924 and established branches throughout the country. Its aims were to teach the safe and efficient use of domestic electricity, to lead safety campaigns and to run training courses. The Association was dissolved in 1986.
Custodial History
The records of three Derbyshire branches were deposited by the Institution of Electrical Engineers in Derbyshire in 1994.
