Description
Parties (1) Edward Bankes of Finchley, county of Middlesex, and Peter Broughton of London, gentlemen, (2) Mary Vernon, widow of the late John Vernon of Sudbury, esquire, her eldest son Edward Vernon, her seecond son Thomas Vernon and third son of Walter Vernon, and (3) John Harestaffe and William Allen of Sudbury, gentlemen.
One moiety in trust for Mary Vernon for her life, the other moiety to Edward Vernon and Margaret his wife.
Dated 29 November 18th year of the reign of King James of England and 54th year of Scotland.
Parchment sheet, with signatures of Edw. Bankes and Peter Broughton, with Broughton's seal on tag and Bankes's seal missing from tag.
Endorsed as "Conveyance" and "Settlement" with memorandum of delivery of possession and seisin, 13 December 18th year of King James [1620].
Endorsed with old number "A. I. 12".
