Description
Property includes 3 cottages in Sudbury that is to say the Newehouse, the house late in the holding of Thomas Gefray and the house late in the holding of Agnes of Newehaye with an acre of arable ground there, Dame Marget leasing to Nicholas Mountgomery the Barnhaye, in return for him leasing to her the 3 cottages, with all its profits, reserving timber to Dame Marget.
To be held for a term of 20 years.
Dated 29 April 30 Henry VI.
Parchment sheet (with partial rodent damage), with remnant of seal.
Endorsed "Curzon", with old number "S. III. 18".
