In consideration of the marriage intended between Francis Fitzherbert, son and heir apparent of Robert Fitzherbert, and Anne his wife, daughter and heir apparent of William Browne. Dated 1 August 1st year of the reign of King James. Parchment sheet, with seal on tag, signed by Robert Fitzherbert. Endorsed with old number "S.S. I. 4".
