Indenture of marriage settlement of Richard Tunnicliffe for the jointure of his wife Mary, of a messuage and two closes of land in Somersal Herbert

Description
Parties: (1) Richard Tonycliffe of Somersal Herbert, yeoman, and Mary his wife, and (2) Edward Rawlins of West Broughton, yeoman, and Nicholas Waite of Ealand Lodge, county of Stafford, gentleman.
In consideration of the marriage already solemnised between Richard and Mary Tonycliffe.
One close of land being called Ashton Pingle (with end adjoining Somersal Heath to the south) and the other being part of Connigry Field adjoining Ashton Pingle.
Parchment sheet, with seal on tag, with mark of Richard Tunnicliffe.
Endorsed with old number "S.S. I. 24"
