Administrative History
A Wesleyan Methodist Church was built in 1831 in Ashford. In 1899 it was enlarged to include a schoolroom. It was originally in the Bakewell Wesleyan Circuit and from 1905 in the North Derbyshire Circuit before becoming part of the Peak Methodist Circuit in 1944. The church closed in 1995. Information relating to the church can be found among the Peak Methodist Circuit (D1877).
