Administrative History
This church was founded as Newtoen Mission Church in 1884 , and closed in 1947, members transferring to Alvaston Methodist Church. Originally part of the Dairy House Road Methodist New Connexion (later United) Methodist Circuit, it became part of Derby South Circuit in 1936.
Custodial History
These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office as part of the Circuit records under D2594 in December 1982 and April 1990, and renumbered D3969 in May 1994.
