Lease and release by the Duke of Dorset, with the consent of the Earl of Thanet, to Thomas Hopkinson of Coldwell, North Wingfield, and his trustee, of a 1/3 part of a messuage house in Northwingfield, and a 1/3 part of several closes of land called the New Close, the Hillside, the Carr Cliff, the Rough Head Lands, the Golden Flatt, the Oxclose, the round Close the Thistly Dole, the High Field, and part of the Narrow Lane, comprising 56 acres and that other messuage with several parcels of land called the Croft by the house, the Lane Croft, the Hig Field, the Water Meadow, the Nether Carr the Near Shoot and the Far Shoot, comprising 25 acres, and a plot of newly enclosed land on the Hen Moor, all within the Manor of Stretton 28-29 Sep 1781
