Administrative History | The church of St James at Harpur Hill was erected and consecrated in 1910, as a chapel of ease for the parish of Burbage. Between 1869 and 1910,Harpur Hill ws a district in the parish of Burbage served by its own curate. In 1975, Harpur Hill was united with other churches to form the parish of Buxton with Burbage and King Sterndale. |
