| Administrative History | Stoney Middleton National School was founded in 1835, and was subsequently enlarged in 1845 and 1892-1893. Built as a National School, to provide elementary education for the children of Stoney Midldleton, it has maintained its close links with the Church of England and is now a C of E controlled primary school.
