Administrative History
The first church built in 1888 was demolished during construction of the railway and a new church built in 1895. The church later became St Paul’s Methodist church and was closed in 1967 when it amalgamated with Clowne Zion Church.
Custodial History
The original collection reference was D1831 (deposited in 1977), but these records were re-accessioned in 1994.
