Administrative History | Bolsover Primitive Methodist Station was formed from parts of Chesterfield Primitive Methodist Circuit in 1861 (see D3741). It included Bolsover, Clowne, Houghton, Marsden Moor, Scarcliffe and Shirebrook. It became the Langwith and Doe Valley Station between 1892 - 1899. It then continued as the Bolsover Station until the unification of the main streams of Methodism in 1932, when most of the churches became part of the Bolsover Methodist Circuit ( see D1831). |
