Scarcliffe Primitive Methodist Church
Administrative History
Scarcilffe, originally Primitive Methodist Church, which was built in 1858. The original Chapel was sold in 1955 and the Church continued in a wooden building until it closed down in 1984. Ownership of the land was to pass from a Mr. Curtis to the Methodist Trust in 1987, but the Church wished to vacate the building at this time.
Custodial History
These records were deposited by the Bolsover and Staveley Methodist Circuit at various dates between July 1990 and January 2002, primarily under reference D1831. They were re-accessioned in 1994.
