| Description | His wife having predeceased him and his other executor having renounced the probate, with annexed copy of will devising to his wife, £100 with all his plate, linen, china, books, prints, pictures and household goods, his horses, carriages, carts,implements, wine and liquors, all his money,securities for money and the remainder of his personal estate to his wife and to Thomas Clarke of Derby, corn factor, upon trusts as follows; to pay the interests and proceeds thereof to his wife until his son John Thomas is 21 and then to pay her the interest upon £5,000 now invested in “Cox, Pountain and Company”, wine merchants; if his son John Thomas shall become a partner in the said firm and shall require the £5,000 or part thereof to remain invested, then he is to handover the interest to his wife; the residue of the interest upon his personal estate to be paid to John Thomas; after the deceased of his wife, to hand over all the personal estate to John Thomas;as long as John Thomas shall live with his wife,he is to pay her £50 pa. towards housekeeping expenses |
