Title
Copy probate of Charles Clayton of Loscoe, yeoman; all his ready money to his wife Ann Clayton; all his mortgage bonds and other securities to his eldest son, Charles Clayton; to his daughter Ann Fidler, 3s per week for life, so long as she shall remain a widow and unmarried all his messuage in Glasshouse Street, Nottingham, to his daughter Amy, wife to John Woodhouse; all other his messuages and lands in Loscoe and Nottingham, with all his household goods and other personal estate to his wife for life, charged with the maintenance of such of their daughters as shall remain unmarried, and after her decease, as follows:- his dwelling house, garden, orchard and crofts at Loscoe to his unmarried daughters so long as they shall remain single; to his daughters Phoebe, wife of John Taylor, Sarah, wife of Robert Bullock and Eliza, wife of Isaac White, £50 each; to his daughters Kazia, Mary, Elizabeth and Emila, £150 each; his dwelling houses in Chesterfield Street, Nottingham, to his son Benjamin for life and then to Benjamin's children as tenants in common; his meadow land in Nottingham Meadows (tenant Mr Tebbut) to Benjamin for life and then to Benjamin's eldest son, in default to his daughters; his silver cup marked B.C. to Benjamin for life and then to his son William; his parcel of building land or garden on Codnor Common (30p) to Benjamin and his wife Elizabeth for their lives and then to their eldest son; the residue of his real and personal estate to his son Charles Clayton, if Charles shall die without issue, then the estate to be divided between his surviving children 12 Oct
