Borrowash (formerly Wesleyan) Methodist Church
Description
The Wesleyan Methodists first built a Chapel in Borrowash in 1825 with a Sunday School which opened in 1830 and a schoolroom built in 1870. A new Chapel was built in 1900 on Nottingham Road, with a schoolroom behind it. In 1949, the Wesleyan and Primitive Methodists united in the Nottingham Road Chapel.
These records were deposited by the Derby East Methodist Circuit Archivist at various dates between 1986 and July 2002.
