Administrative History | Newbold, formerly Primitive, Methodist, Church opened in 1890 after some years of meetings in private houses. The church was part of the Chesterfield Second Primitive Methodist (Brampton) Circuit. In 1956 the building was sold and the congregation united with Littlemoor Methodist Church, the proceeds of the sale going to the building of a new Newbold Methodist Church at Ulverston Road. |
